Josh Goldstein is a committed advocate for people who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others. He seeks to provide excellent personal injury representation, individualized to each respective client’s needs and special set of circumstances.
Josh has represented clients for injuries suffered in a variety of personal injury litigation areas including motor vehicle collisions, products liability, and defective premises. Josh has sought to represent his clients’ interests by devising successful negotiation and settlement strategies, including resolving cases through mediation. When settlement cannot be reached, he will take the case to verdict. Josh has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in the practice area of Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs. Practicing in multiple areas around Connecticut, Josh is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the Fairfield County Bar Association, and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.
After graduating Syracuse University College of Law, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Mark Cimino of the New Jersey Tax and Superior Courts, where he assisted Judge Cimino with the drafting of orders and opinions for cases involving tax, secured transactions, and family law matters. Following his clerkship, Josh joined a New York-based law firm where he litigated cases in the areas of labor & employment, civil rights, and torts and represented clients in state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies. Josh earned an M.P.A. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, and a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University.
In addition to his practice with the firm, Josh is a member of the Norwalk, Connecticut’s Common Council (city council), having been elected to a city-wide position in 2021 and re-elected in 2023. In that capacity, he chairs the Council’s Economic and Community Development Committee and serves on the Council’s Ordinance and Public Safety & General Government Committees. He previously served as a member of Norwalk’s Zoning Commission from 2019 until 2021.
Josh and his wife Elizabeth live in West Norwalk.
