Josh Goldstein

Josh Goldstein is a committed advocate for people who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others. He provides excellent personal injury representation, individualized to each respective client’s needs and special set of circumstances. Josh has represented clients with injuries suffered in a variety of personal injury litigation areas, including motor vehicle collisions, products liability, defective premises, and medical malpractice.

Josh takes pride in reaching favorable settlements for nearly all clients before having to go to trial. Josh has sought to represent his clients’ interests by devising successful negotiation and settlement strategies, including resolving cases through mediation. When a settlement cannot be reached, he has and will take the case to verdict.

Practicing in multiple areas across Connecticut, Josh is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association. 

After graduating from Syracuse University College of Law, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Mark Cimino of the New Jersey Tax and Superior Courts. Following his clerkship, Josh joined a New York-based law firm, where he litigated cases in the areas of labor and employment, civil rights, and torts, representing clients in state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies. Josh earned an M.P.A. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University.

In addition to his practice with the firm, Josh is a member of the Norwalk, Connecticut City Council. First elected in 2021, Josh was re-elected in 2025 having received the most votes in a 16-candidate race. In 2026, he was elected by his colleagues to serve as Council President, making him one of the youngest members ever elected to the position. He currently chairs the Council’s Economic and Community Development Committee and serves on the Council’s Ordinance and Public Safety & General Government Committees. He has authored multiple ordinances passed by the Council on subjects including but not limited to Complete Streets transportation policy and permitting the sale of retail cannabis. He previously served as a member of Norwalk’s Zoning Commission from 2019 until 2021.
